If you need 120,000 square feet of storage in Stow, you're in luck.

Today is May 29, 2025.
Good (foggy) morning! For those of you reading today’s newsletter while it’s still hot off the press, we’re under a Special Weather Statement until 8 a.m. due to patchy dense fog this morning. The National Weather Service says mist and pockets of fog will lead to widespread visibilities of around 1 mile through sunrise. Some locally dense fog will reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile at times. Other than that, we’ll have a high of 72 degrees today with some sun, then turning cloudy and breezy with a shower in spots this afternoon. Tonight’s low will be 54.
ATTENTION SILVER LAKE RESIDENTS: Door-to-door solicitors have been making their way through Silver Lake. The village says that valid solicitors should have a permit that is for Silver Lake and is currently in effect. If in doubt, residents should turn solicitors away and call Village Hall at 330-923-5233 for guidance. Do not alert or engage improper solicitors; instead, call the Silver Lake Police Department’s non-emergency number at 330-929-8771 to report the presence of unregistered solicitors.
STOW SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL SURVEY: The City of Stow, in cooperation with the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District, is updating the Stow School Travel Plan. As such, the city and school district have formed a Safe Routes to School Committee to learn your thoughts about children walking and biking to school. You can provide input in two ways: 1. Answer the question, “How can we improve walking and bicycling to school in our community?” by emailing [email protected]; or 2. If you are a parent of a child who attends Stow-Munroe Falls High School, Lakeview Intermediate School, Highland Elementary School, Echo Hills Elementary School, Fishcreek Elementary School, Indian Trail Elementary School, Woodland Elementary School or Holy Family School, you may complete an online survey at https://odot.formstack.com/forms/srts_caregiver_survey.
TASCFORCE COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE ON SATURDAY: The non-profit organization Trail Advocates of Summit County, or TASCforce, is sponsoring a community bike ride this weekend to promote active lifestyles, showcase the county’s bicycle trail system, and raise awareness for the future Veterans Trail between Hudson and Akron that will pass through Stow and Silver Lake. The out & back ride will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, beginning at LifeCenter Plus at 5133 Darrow Rd. in Hudson and proceeding northwest on the path toward Brandywine Falls. Markers will be placed on the path to indicate turnaround points for 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-mile rides. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $10 for adults (free for veterans). Go here for more information.
