🔦 Close era closes
In honor of 37 years of Stow-Munroe Falls basketball coach Dave Close

Today is Feb. 20, 2025.
Good morning! Those single-digit temps we had the last few days are finally gone, but not by much: It’s going to be cloudy and very cold today with a couple of snow showers, with a high of 21 degrees and a low of 15. Snow accumulation will be anywhere from a coating to an inch, so roads could be slippery. But take heart: Spring is now just one month away.
ATTENTION SPOTLIGHT READERS: If you haven’t seen our new Summit County publication called “The Summiteer” yet, then check out this feature story and photos by Phil Keren about the new Stow Community & Senior Center. The Summiteer covers news and events in eastern Summit County, including the communities of Stow, Munroe Falls, Silver Lake, Twinsburg, Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge, Lakemore and Springfield Township. SPOTLIGHT ON THE CHAMBER
Sponsored by the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce
It’s back! Expect over 100 exhibitors at the 20th Stow-Munroe Falls Business & Community Expo on March 15

Content provided by the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce
The Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of its premier event to showcase businesses and organizations from our area. The Stow-Munroe Falls Business & Community Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at Stow-Munroe Falls High School, located at 3227 Graham Rd. This ONE DAY ONLY event will feature business and community organization exhibitors, prize drawings and more!
Expect to see OVER 100 exhibitors at the Stow-Munroe Falls Business & Community Expo! This business-to-community event is a great way to connect with local businesses to get on their schedules for spring through fall, learn more about what they do and connect your kids with fun activities all over town!
The Expo is presented by the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce and is a collaborative event with the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District and the Cities of Stow and Munroe Falls. Main Event Sponsors include Western Reserve Hospital, and Brandon Heating and Air Conditioning. Since 1989, attendees from all over NE Ohio have visited the exhibitors at the Expo. There is no cost to attend, and parking is free. As a signature community event, there are activities for all to enjoy in a safe and friendly environment. Business exhibitors return time after time to showcase their products and services.
“The Expo is a wonderful event and a great opportunity for the community to see the fantastic variety of local businesses and organizations that we have in the area,” Julie McLain, executive director of the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce, said. “In addition, the exhibitors have the opportunity to get in front of thousands of community members face to face during this event – something that they can’t do on a daily basis.
“We are grateful to have such a great committee made up of city, school, business and community members to help plan and organize such a large event,” McLain added. “Since this is the 20th Expo and the Chamber is in its 60th year, we are excited and look forward to seeing it continue to evolve in the future.”
Says Stow Mayor John Pribonic: “This is such an amazing opportunity to see what our local businesses and organizations have to offer as well as for those businesses and groups to connect with the community, as the event attracts thousands of visitors.”
A special THANK YOU goes out to our PLATINUM Sponsors: A. Caspersen Company, Inc. and Ron Marhofer Chevrolet. Our GOLD Sponsors are Small Steps Big Strides, DG Creativ, VanHo Law, At Your Service Roofing and Floor Coverings International Cleveland South. We are also partnering with Helping Hands of Stow to collect food items for local pantries. A truck will be positioned outside the high school collecting FOOD items from the community. “It’s a great way to do something for the community and support our businesses by visiting the Expo at the same time,” Pribonic said.
There will be door-prize drawings, and so much more will be available during this one-day event. Stop in for a few hours or spend the day. Don’t miss out! It’s going to be fun!
