Stow Players announced their 2022-23 season lineup, including shows for all ages

The Stow Players community theater, which will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year, kicks off its 2022-23 season with an all-youth production of “Dorothy in Wonderland” on Nov. 11.
The new season will feature five productions. Following “Dorothy in Wonderland” in November is “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” in December, “Cinderella or the Story of Bigfoot” in January, “The Children’s Hour” in February and “Matt’s First (Real) Wedding” in March.
Tickets for the 2022-23 season are available now at www.stowplayers.net. All performances will take place at the Heritage Barn at Silver Springs Park (5238 Young Rd.) in Stow.
“Dorothy in Wonderland,” by Brian D. Taylor and featuring actors ages 6-17, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11, 12, 18 and 19, as well as 2:30 p.m. Nov. 13 and 20. LeAnn Covey and John Leasure are the directors.
“The Great American Trailer Park Musical” is based on the book by Betsy Kelso, with music and lyrics by David Nehls. Directed by Dave Stebbins, this production takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17, and also at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 11. Caution: This show contains strong language and adult themes.
“Cinderella or the Story of Bigfoot,” by Elizabeth Ely Moreno, runs 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20 and 21, and 2:30 p.m. Jan. 22. Directed by Penelope Covey, this show is a one-act, all-youth production by actors ages 7 to 12.
“The Children’s Hour,” by Lillian Hellman and directed by Brandi Eaton, runs 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18, as well as 2:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and 12.
“Matt’s First (Real) Wedding,” by Brandi Eaton, closes the 2022-23 season with performance dates at 7:30 p.m. March 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25, and also 2:30 p.m. March 12 and 19. Director will be announced.
